How much storage is required for PACS?
A CT scan is 100–500 MB, while an MRI can be up to 1 GB. A clinic with one scanner generates 3–8 TB per year. Archives are built in tiers: recent studies on SSDs, and annual archives on HDD RAID6.
What is important for an HIS (Hospital Information System)?
Database response for registration and medical appointments: SSD/NVMe, 32–64 GB of RAM. Peak load occurs on Monday mornings; we plan for that, not the average.
Requirements for personal data?
