What we did

What we did for the project

Storefront, dual-side dashboards, AI, and mobile apps — the entire platform.

Public storefront

Catalog and prices are visible without registration — the platform works like a market search engine.

Supplier catalog

Company profile with products, terms, map, and AI reliability scoring based on delivery history.

Cart optimizer

Each supplier has their own minimum order — the platform automatically assembles the most cost-effective order split and displays any extra costs.

Invoice recognition

Invoice photos are reconciled against orders: price hikes, shortages, and extra items are flagged with totals.

Smart search

Handles typos, transliteration, and word forms: "grenfud", "tamat", "potatoes" find the right items.

Two apps on a single core

"Business" for the restaurant and "Supplier" for the vendor — one codebase, different interfaces.

01Challenge

Blind procurement

Restaurants buy from a dozen suppliers: prices in chats, individual minimum orders, manual invoice reconciliation. They needed a platform where the entire market is visible.

02Design

As familiar as a consumer marketplace

We designed the interface using consumer marketplace logic: categories with photos, product cards with supplier selection, cart, and reordering — no retraining needed for procurement managers.

Storefront without registration
Supplier selection on the product card
One-tap reordering

03Development

AI where it saves money

The cart optimizer meets minimums, invoice recognition catches discrepancies, scoring evaluates supplier reliability, and the assistant answers questions with real-time invoice data.

✓Result

A dual-market platform

Sauda.AI operates on live data: restaurants make purchases, while suppliers manage price lists and view analytics on demand and customer churn.

Project Q&A

FAQ

How is this different from a standard online store?+

It features two markets: venues and suppliers. Each side has its own dashboard, and the platform matches supply and demand—it's a marketplace, not a single-vendor storefront.

What does the cart optimizer do?+

Suppliers have different minimum order amounts. The platform suggests moving items to meet these minimums and transparently displays any overpayment.

How does invoice recognition work?+

A photo of the invoice is parsed automatically and reconciled with the order: the platform highlights price increases, shortages, and unordered items with their respective costs.

How much does such a marketplace cost?+

It depends on the scope of roles and integrations—we provide a quote after the brief. The ready-made A-LUX core reduces both timelines and budget.
