The service has users in different countries: we needed a login method where the code is guaranteed to be delivered, regardless of the carrier.

One screen for the phone number, one for the code. The system does everything else, including choosing the delivery channel.

Channels with fallback
Configured an SMS gateway with a WhatsApp fallback: if the SMS isn't delivered, the code arrives via messenger.

Access without support
Users log in themselves from any country—"code not received" support tickets have practically disappeared.
