Who Shopify suits and who it does not

The platform is strong when speed to launch matters and you do not want to think about servers: updates, load and security sit on Shopify's side. It suits brands with a clear assortment and cross-border sales.
The limits are equally specific: a subscription in foreign currency, its own rules on payment providers and less freedom in complex pricing logic than a custom build. If your business depends on local gateways and accounting, we say so immediately and compare alternatives.
Payments and shipping in Kazakhstan

Which payment methods are available depends on the jurisdiction of the company and the provider chosen. We work that out for your specific case before starting — promising «any gateway works» would be inaccurate.
Shipping is simpler: zones, rates and delivery windows are configured inside the platform, and courier services connect through apps or an API — the deciding factor is who you already work with.

The work is scoped by catalogue size, theme complexity and integrations. The platform subscription is paid to Shopify directly and is separate from us.
Can we accept local cards?
It depends on your company's jurisdiction and the payment provider. We check your specific case — a general answer here would be misleading.
What if the store outgrows the platform?
Then it is migrated to a custom solution with URLs and content preserved. We warn about that scenario in advance when we see it coming.
We already have a Shopify store and need changes.
That is a separate service: theme changes, custom logic and integrations on top of a running store.
Who runs the store after launch?
You do — adding products and processing orders needs no developer. If you want a contractor for regular changes, we offer support.
